Volunteer Engagement Roundtable
September 21 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
September 21st Volunteer Engagement Roundtable at Council of Neighbors and Organizations
309 S Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A small but mighty cohort of funders, consultants and volunteer engagement professionals from Colorado Springs attended the first ever National Summit on Volunteer Engagement in St. Paul, MN where, in addition to traditional training sessions and innovative strategy sessions, nonprofit professionals sat with funders to explore the benefits of investing in volunteer engagement. This collaborative track is where a series of materials for funders and for nonprofits to advance the conversation on making the case for investing in volunteer engagement were be unveiled. The new Funder’s Guide to Investing in Volunteer Engagement and resources for nonprofits are the product of a partnership between JFFixler Group and The Leighty Foundation, which is making the materials available on its website. Download them today!
In September, representatives from the Colorado Springs Cohort will present on lessons-learned from the directors of volunteers and funders and we’ll talk about next steps and what it means for all of us! There will be time for questions to presenters AND time to talk to one another about what’s happening in your world as a volunteer management professional. $0 for CNE members and $10 for nonmembers RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org
