Position Description:
The Colorado Springs Philharmonic seeks an experienced fundraising professional
to lead the development program for this dynamic 5 year old organization.
Responsibilities include individual donor development, donor recognition,
corporate fundraising, grant-writing and special events. Supports the Executive
Director and Board of Directors in their fundraising efforts, performs all
development database management and reporting functions. Significant weekend
work at concerts required.
Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively
orally and in writing, with a track record of successful fundraising appeals.
He/she will be reliable and trustworthy, self-motivated and able to work
independently and as part of a team. He/she will have strong knowledge of
computer and software programs, especially database management and Microsoft
Office. Knowledge of eTapestry helpful. Familiarity with performing arts
organizations, the Colorado Springs community and the Colorado philanthropic
community preferred.
Position Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
