The Bob Telmosse Christmas Giveaway is being held this year on Saturday, Dec 20th at the Freedom Financial Services Expo Center starting at 9am. We are a local 501c organization that is holding our 32nd annual Christmas Giveaway. This event is like no other in the country. We are an all volunteer force who are just people helping people. Last year over 4,000 people participated in the the one day giveaway with no questions asked, only to wait in line. The only requirement is that the children be present to pick out their own book & stuffed animal, age appropriate toy, a gift for their caregiver that is wrapped by volunteers, and a chance to win a bike with over 650 donated last year. Each family picks out coats, hats, and gloves until all are gone. Every family also receives a frozen turkey, 5lb bag of potatoes, can veg, stuffing, and bread/desserts donated by Care & Share. All of the resources given away are 100% donated by the community of Colorado Springs for the communit y of Colorado Springs. We need coat drives, book drives, toy drives, and bike drives. Volunteers are also needed for the event and set up.
